About this event:
This month we will be meeting at The Hind in Musbury hosted by business member Emma Shrubb.
Emma is kindly offering refreshments in exchange for donations to League of Friends Axminster Hospiscare at Home. There will be an opportunity to buy some jams & chutneys too.In September our social coffee morning will be at The Hind in Musbury.
Also, LBL member Tricia Boyd from The Gardener’s Blacksmith is opening the forge especially for Lyme Bay Ladies to coincide with the coffee morning.
The forge will be open beforehand (from 9.15a.m) and afterwards from noon. At the forge, blacksmith Jonne designs and hand crafts a wide range of individual items for the garden and home – from practical garden supports and fun garden art, to modern Arts & Crafts-inspired homewares and furniture. Bespoke items are regularly made to order. 10% off list prices for LBL members.
Directions. Take the road between The Hind and the petrol station (The Street) and head uphill. You’re heading straight up for about half a mile to the church. However, as the road bends 90 degrees to the left twice on the way up, you will need to turn right at these junctions to keep straight! When you reach the church, turn right into the gateway for Musbury Barton. Keep on the drive to the left. At the top of the slope you will see the forge.
