This session will be of interest to women in general, though it is aimed at micro-businesses which provide a service, exchanging their time and skill for money.

Cathy will talk about our relationship with money, and how that knits or knots with our client’s or partner’s relationship with money. You are welcome to bring questions and concerns (beforehand and anonymous if you wish). Confidence, money-style, personal history and situation all vary, so we can all make different decisions and still be okay. After all, we are all affected by these things and it’s getting the communication between you right that counts.

The aim of this session is to reduce current fear and help you feel a little more secure in how you handle fees and other money decisions in your micro-business right now.

BIO

A psychotherapist for over 30 years, Cathy Towers has a deep understanding of relationships and of psychology built over thousands of sessions, when Cathy speaks she can be trusted to bring insight, connection and understanding. Ethical standards that inhibit business owners, particularly in service and creative fields are also in her sights.

A quirky and non-judgemental fascination makes her the go-to person for the topic which is the biggest predictor of divorce – our relationship with money. She has also screwed up so many times with money herself that no one could be embarrassed to talk about this thorny issue with her. Cathy helps people break through their blocks and make bold decisions…and feel good about it. She is committed to integrity and champions co-operation over competition to maximise your own and others resources – in personal and professional relationships.

A former columnist for Connections magazine, currently radio show host on Phonic FM with the Speaking Out show, Cathy also loves improv and dancing argentine tango. She is a fierce voice for confidence and communication.

It will be a positive way to start the week and keep connected.
