Today we met at The Teapot Cafe at Millers Farm for a special monthly coffee morning. What a fantastic way to celebrate 2 year of Lyme Bay Ladies. We met at The Galley Cafe for prosecco and dancing. The cafe has such atmosphere in the evening with candles on the tables and we were so lucky to have Lorrayn de Peyer to sing live for us. Thank you to Keian for the venue, Heather for looking after us on the night and Lorrayn for her beautiful voice. Hope you all had fun! 6th October 2017 Great company, great music and lots of bubbles! Premium Member, Nayna Kumari, kindly offered to host a talk for LBL on a variety of subjects and we chose to discuss bereavement. Nayna was able to share with us a brief explanation of the science behind grief and explore why bereavement and loss is so difficult to ‘get over’ – why you can come to terms with loss intellectually but not emotionally. We also discussed why it is so difficult to support somebody who is grieving and explored what might be helpful to do and say and what generally might not. Thank you to Diane Earle from The Hub for hosting us and to Chris Tipping from Hyggs for donating a delicious White Velvet cake which we auctioned off in aid of The Hub and to Claire Barrow of The Jewel Barrow for being the top bidder! Please take a look at The Hub’s FB page and consider it for your next event. Thank you Nayna and look forward to listening to your talk on stress at our new Bridport Networking Event. 28th September 2017 Really interesting and moving talk – thank you Nayna Lisa Eastwood Founder, Lyme Bay...Read More

What a wonderful evening at Axminster Printing – Thank you Jane Rockett. Tucked away down the alleyway off the main street in Axminster is this family run printers and stationers. The ladies were treated to drinks & nibbles and a tour of the ‘factory’ floor to see the incredible array of machines and products they produce. We saw samples of printed work they had produced – items such as waterproof menus, calendars, printed canvas, greetings card, tent fold business cards, brochures and booklets. Keith gave us several demonstrations of various machines in action such as high powered guillotine, the platen machine,...Read More

We are all so lucky, having a network of like minded people who are there to support each other. It's great to help raise money for charity as well. Long may it continue!
