The Uplyme Village Fete was a great place for some of our ladies to promote their businesses. We all came together and shared a large marquee. The sun was shining and the event was well attended. A beautiful spring evening was spent learning all about wines from Furleigh Wine Estate. We were joined by partners and heard about the history and future plans for this local vineyard from the owner Rebecca Hansford. Our wonderful hosts at The Fairwater Head Hotel in Hawkchurch provided some canapés to accompany the tasting of 3 wines before we enjoyed supper. It was a fabulous setting and the wines were divine. Meet the Artist – Sam Cannon What a wonderful evening! Thank you to Holly from Blue Lias Gallery for hosting, treating us to wine and nibbles, and organising for us to meet the talented Sam Cannon.
