Meet the Artist – Sam Cannon

What a wonderful evening! Thank you to Holly from Blue Lias Gallery for hosting, treating us to wine and nibbles, and organising for us to meet the talented Sam Cannon. Sam is an artist and illustrator living locally in Dorset. She works in watercolours, gouache, colour pencils and graphite pencil on board, paper, slates and stone.

It was so interesting speaking to Sam and view her art which is so well known in this area. The ladies were free to mingle and shop and many left with bags of beautiful items purchased from the shop.

If you haven’t been in to Blue Lias is is worth a visit with a wide range of art, gifts and cards.

A few ladies went on to The Pilot Boat for the prosecco & mussels night!
