LBL’s Trudi Day and Kerri-Ann Briggs invited us to visit their venue (59) during Devon Open Studios to enjoy a special morning together with complimentary refreshments whilst viewing the art work. Donations were kindly accepted for their chosen Alzheimers Charity. Overall they raised £tbc

Trudi and Kerri-Ann gave a short talk about what they do and the exciting creative classes and workshops they will be offering in the Autumn. We also heard about the East Devon Artists which is an art group open to all, even those who don’t live in East Devon but enjoy visiting. As a member there are many benefits with the most popular being 15% of art supplies at Devon Art Supplies, no charges to exhibit at Botanica Gallery with just 12% commission on sales and a well attended weekly meeting at 11am on Mondays where artists and creatives come to catch up, discuss projects, learn from each other and arrange arty workshops together. We started in March 2019 and have over 50 members already, we hope to progress and build the group based on members needs.
You can find out more about East Devon Artists and how to join at www.eastdevonartists.co.uk or pop in to chat with them at 30 Queen Street, Seaton, EX12 2RB

Besides looking at the beautiful art and all the shop has to offer there were also a few paints available for those ladies wanting to have a play and get creative!

Big thank you to both Kerri-Ann and Trudi.
