We’ve all heard that meditation is good for us – mentally, physically and just all-round.  So how come we aren’t all doing it?

Perhaps it’s the way we think about it.  Maybe it’s the pictures of people sitting in lotus position, looking peaceful and calm. Or perhaps it’s hearing about the ecstasy of enlightenment, with its promise of never-ending bliss.  Maybe it all looks a bit out of reach.

There’s a powerful meditation industry these days, much of which feeds into this idea of a beautiful ideal.  From mindfulness to yoga via chanting and visualisation, the range on offer is huge, and might be a bit boggling.  What are the differences between these things?  Who can you trust?  Which approach might be best for you?

In this live Q&A session, Business Member Emily Wilkins, answered these and more.

Emily has been practicing for over 2,500 days in a row so she was in a position to give some expert responses!  She became a Buddhist earlier this year and was given a Buddhist name, part of which translates as ‘powerful speech’.

Emily also introduced a brand new idea, a service unlike any other on the meditation ‘market’, which might be the stimulus you’re seeking to get going with your own practice.  After all, that’s what it comes down to in the end!

Keep an eye out on LBL for more details or contact Emily directly.
