Today we met at The Teapot Cafe at Millers Farm for a special monthly coffee morning.

We have spent the last few months raising money for our chosen charity The Project and I was delighted to present Debbie Humberstone with a cheque for £363 bringing the total we have raised in the last 12 months to £573. Special fundraising thanks to Daisy Kearey from Old Park Hall for hosting an Afternoon Tea, Emma Shrubb from The Golden Hind for the money raised at our September coffee morning and Furleigh Estate for the charity Afternoon Tea and to all the ladies that have supported these events among others.

Debbie spoke to us about the important work they do at The Project and the growing need to support young people with mental health issues. If you think you have something to offer please contact Debbie. They do an incredible job and we are so lucky to have this resource on our doorstep but they can only help so many and need support to grow, fundraise and spread the word about mental health. All the ladies there this morning were touched by Debbie’s talk – thank you Debbie.

Thank you to Olivia from Millers for having us again and don’t forget to buy your 2018 Calendar (see below) as proceeds go to The Project.
