September’s Lyme Bay Ladies was just delightful as usual. We had a few new faces (welcome Sarah, Sharon and Becky!) and lots of the usual lovely ladies – Claire, Daphne, Esther, Katie, and Yamini.
Most of us were still reeling from the Summer holidays and the return to work, and the overarching theme of the group was, again, connection. We decided to mix it up a little today, and embraced the energy with a little laughter introduction, and a round-table of what we all do.
As ever, it seems like such a brilliant confluence of skills and the way that information and help was shared openly is heartwarming. So – we thought we’d take it one step further with a “accountability” option. (Daphne reframed this elegantly into a “what I would LOVE to achieve soon, and would really appreciate someone asking me about” exercise). So, information was shared, and check-in buddies assigned, and now we have a lovely web of connection to allow everyone to achieve and celebrate with someone brand new to them.
Topics ranged from: making time for wellbeing, to more socialising, to launching a new business, finding new associates, building more marketing resources and learning tech! I have high hopes for everyone, and I’m looking forward to hearing how it goes.
Next meeting is in November, and Katie Arscott is ready to roll! Expect more fun, more glitter and more connections all round.
Thank you to Daily Bowl (just alongside Exeter Central station) for hosting us.
Everyone welcome – look out for the booking links on Facebook or the LBL website.
