BIPC Devon recently hosted the lovely Lyme Bay Ladies for a networking session at Exeter Library.  Some regular Lyme Bay Ladies regulars attended, along with some non members for whom this was their first experience of networking.  The group was small, but this meant that everyone had the perfect opportunity to meet with everyone and get a good grasp of what everyone does.

The session started quite organically with people chatting over teas and coffees, then we all sat for a chat.  Jo started with an overview of the BIPC, what it is, how it came to be, and what is on offer. These include access to free events and webinars, online resources and access to business information through the library staff and experts.  More information can be found at www.bipc.librariesunlimited.org.uk
Then Lisa of Lyme Bay Ladies explained how the group was formed and grew over time.  She explained the support that is available to members and changes that will be happening in the coming months.

The session ended with everyone taking time to introduce themselves to the group.  There was no pressure to have the perfect elevator pitch.  It was more an informal chat to get to know each other better.

Overall, it was a fantastically successful session and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Thank you to those that attended.
