Lyme Bay Ladies received the following email from Small Business Saturday and thought it would be useful for all our members. You can list your business and also attend the tour when it is local to you. We will be at Weymouth. Here is the details from the email:
‘my name is Josh and I am one of the events assistants for the Small Business Saturday UK campaign. I would like to invite you and your network to our event at New Bond Street, Weymouth DT4 8LY on the 25th November 2019 between 10:00 and 14:00.
If you are not familiar with the campaign, we are a not-for-profit campaign which exists to promote, support and inspire the UK’s 5.6 million small businesses, and encourage consumers to ‘shop local’. Small Business Saturday day itself is on the first Saturday of December (7th), however we continue to provide support all year round through various events and workshops, please follow the link to our website to find out more www.smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com.
In the run up to the day itself we promote the campaign through our annual Bus Tour across the nation and during the tour we will be providing some excellent opportunities for your local small businesses to get involved with:
· Free on-board mentoring sessions with our experienced and trusted local contacts. This must be pre-booked via “My Small Business” section of our website www.smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com
